I burned my hand...but it was worth it!!!

My April/May 2012 edition of Cooks Country came in the mail and this recipe jumped out at me. So much that I had to immediately text my partner in crime and tell Carrie I had dibs on this one. We all know she loves her some Cooks Country. Baked Chicken Imperial...it sounded fabulous! And it was!  Kaitlin and Riley had Pasta. Let me remind you, they no longer get a vote. And neither does Morgan. So my cooking experiments are for Robbert and I to vote on! Sorry kids...you have failed me one too many times. This was super easy to make and reasonable at the same time. The most difficult part was trying to remember how to use my food processor. No problem, I poured a glass of wine and it came right back to me! My finished dish looked just like the picture! That alone calls for a toast!  ;)  This is worth a try! Hope you enjoy! FOOTNOTE FOR ALL OUR FRIENDS READING THIS: Remember when you take the pan out of the oven and you are making your sauce at the end....the pan is still VERY VERY VERY HOT! I'm just offering some free advice. Either have ice close by...or use your brains...it's VERY HOT!!!

  1. I made this tonight. Soooo good. My 2 year old and six year old loved it too. Easy, but pretty enough for company. I also made the Moravian chicken pie you mentioned in one of your earlier posts. Wasn't that pastry amazing?
